Blogs

This is the coolest thing I have learned in these online classes I have been taking. All of this is new to me and the more I learn about blogs the more I become aware of them. I was just added a few more site feeds to my bloglines account. I am constantly looking for more and thinking how I can use them in my classroom. I am open to new ideas so if you already use them in your classroom, please give me some ideas. Thank you!

I like how you are documenting in this blog your growth in this new way of making the Internet work for you. I hope you keep this up because I would love to see you are with this 2 years from now.

I don't use blogs in my classroom yet, but I have seen a few where the teacher sets up a category for each class.

I am not sure how to do this in blogger but I was able to do it in edublogs.

Anyway, for example a teacher would set up a category called Math1-Period 1, Math1-Period 2 etc. Then, she would post the assignment or messages for each class separately.

I wish I had the link, I guess I need to set up the delicious account.

Hi,
What grade do you teach? Creating a classroom blog and having students respond to teacher prompts and to each other. Remember that for our students it is second nature:)

what bloglines are you using, is there a way you can share your blog line feeds. I have my google reader account shares and i like seeing what other people are sharing on their blog. It is like adding personality to the bloger's profile.
